Our materials contribute to the depollution of the oceans
The materials we use in Triloop clothing are technical and ecological.
They come from plastic bottles or recycled fishing nets. They contribute to reducing waste at sea and reduce the pollution generated by the manufacture of a virgin material.
Recycled polyester
12 million tons of plastic are dumped into our oceans every year. And 30 million tons of polyester are produced each year. However, it is a material derived from petrochemicals and a source of significant CO2 emissions. Faced with these observations, we have chosen to use recycled polyester in our swimsuits. In this way, we give a second life to the plastic bottles that pollute our oceans and we reduce the impact of the production of virgin material. This process reduces the environmental impact of our swimwear. Swimming with our products allows you to help clean the oceans of the waste that pollutes them. Every bottle used to make our swimwear is one bottle less in nature!
Recycled polyamide
640,000 tonnes of fishing nets are currently polluting our oceans. And it is 52.4 million tons of synthetic fibers that are produced each year. Polyamide represents approximately 9% of these polluting synthetic fibres. However, it is a material that generates substantial CO2 emissions and consumes water and energy in manufacturing. Faced with these facts, recycled polyamide is a real solution for saving the resources and pollution necessary for the production of a virgin polyamide material. Recycling also reduces waste and gives a second life to the fishing nets that pollute our oceans. This process reduces the environmental impact of our running shorts. Running with our products allows you to help clean the oceans of the waste that pollutes them.
