Our history
Our skills at the service of your products
A common passion
From an early age, the co-founders practiced different sports in competition. Always looking for new challenges, they started triathlon. By running, cycling and swimming on their new playground, they saw environmental challenges. Then they started a new challenge : create a high-performance and eco-responsible sportswear brand. They brought together a team of passionate to try to meet this challenge. Our goal is to bring together a real community of environmentally conscious athletes around the values of the brand.
Designed for performance
To achieve our goal of creating a brand that aligns with their values, we imagine the life cycle of our clothing to be as low impact as possible. Our clothes are made from recycled or biodegradable materials to significantly reduce the impact of their manufacture. The use of these materials is part of a circularity approach while preserving the performance at the heart of our products. As athletes and sports enthusiasts, we know the needs in terms of performance, quality and efficiency of triathlon clothing. The considerable time devoted to researching the ideal material allows us to offer you clothes that are synonymous with lightness, breathability, softness and durability. The material is not the only criterion for bringing together these different qualities, we have also worked on the cutting and sewing of the garment. To offer a quality product, we have been down to the smallest detail.
By respecting the environment
The textile industry is the second most polluting industry in the world. One of the most used materials in sportswear is polyester : a material derived from petroleum. Triloop is a real alternative. Most of our products are made from recycled polyester. The material we use is obtained from fabric scraps or plastic bottles recovered at sea. What should have been waste is recycled into fabric. Thus, we reduce both the impact of the manufacture but also the quantity of plastic waste in the oceans. All our products have been designed to allow you to practice your sport while respecting your values.
By supporting local manufacturing
The manufacture of our products is carried out by local actors in a short manufacturing circuit. For example, for our running t-shirts, the raw material is imported from Italy and then the rest of the manufacturing is done in the south of France. They travel less than 1000 km before arriving at your home, compared to 40,000 km if they had been made in China. We are committed to being transparent with you about our manufacturing processes. By explaining the origin and history of our products, we want to give you the opportunity to make the best choice for your clothes. Eco-responsibility is not only about creating products that have less impact on the planet. Social issues must also to be taken into account. We ensure that the factories we work with respect working conditions and compensate their employees fairly.
